The Deposit Insurance Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is governed by the Management Board. The Management Board consist of five members.  The Governor of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Minister of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina, or their nominees, are ex officio members of the Management Board. The Governing Board of the Central Bank has the right to appoint one member of the Management Board and Minister of Finance of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Minister of Finance of Republika Srpska each has the right to appoint one member to the Management Board. Members of the Management Board, who are not ex officio members, must be individuals who have achieved reputations for financial or banking expertise and who also possess reputations for high moral standards by which to perform their entrusted duties. Tasks of the Management Board are regulated by the Law on Deposit Insurance in Banks of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
